| One thing that is crazy is all the abandoned houses and cars that are rotting away out here. The Rapid City to Huron east train pokes along at 10 mph as they make the last 18 miles into Pierre. This train was build at Rapid City Yard on late Thursday night and staged at Box Elder for a Friday afternoon crew to take to Phillip. Now the Sunday morning the train has only made it roughly 110 miles since the 16:45 departure from Box Elder. PRC Sub at its finest. |
