Jim and Cate Wrinn share a special moment while celebrating the success of the Trains Magazine photo charter of Western Maryland 1309 at the end of February, 2022.
Only a month later (March 30, 2022), Jim ended his 14-month battle with pancreatic "C-word".
Jim was a lifelong railfan, journalist, supporter, friend, and overall remarkable person. He had been the Editor of Trains Magazine since 2004. "Wrinnbo" touched many lives, and the world is definitely a better place having been blessed by his presence. He will be sorely missed by many, but he surely left his mark.
