On the evening of May 5th, 2022, the second 5-car Kawasaki built MTA New York City Transit R211A subway cars (4065-4069) descends into the Grant Ave Portal on the IND Fulton Street Line in Brooklyn, NY. The train was heading back to Pitkin Yard after several hours of testing on the Rockaway Test Track at Broad Channel.

With the introduction of this new model of subway railcar, several tests must be performed before the rest of the huge order is built. One of these tests involves running the new train back and forth on the 2-mile long Rockaway Test Track at the Broad Channel flats testing braking, propulsion and various other mechanical features.
