| Lightoil fired 2-10-0 steamlocomotive 52 # 8055 of the DLM (Dampflokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik) is crossing the 254 meter long and 25 meter high Rhine bridge near Hemishofen, on the line Singen/Germany-Rielasingen-Etzwilen, with a train of the association for preservation of the railway line Etzwilen – Singen (VES), from Rielasingen to Etzwilen. The impressive truss bridge was built in 1875 for the Schweizerische Nationalbahn (SNB). Regular railway traffic was stopped in 2006. On the rhine is the motor vessel "Munot" of the Schifffahrtsgesellschaft Untersee und Rhein, running course 550 from Kreuzlingen Hafen via Constance-Stein am Rhein-Diessenhofen to Schaffhausen. |
