About an hour after midnight on May 23, 2022, a southbound KCS manifest train crosses the Illinois River at Watts, OK. Just ahead, visible to the right of the bridge structure, the signal at the north end of the siding shows a restricting aspect. The train was already slowing and would eventually diverge into the siding, stopping at the Watts yard to exchange some cars.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
