| Meeting of two 4-6-2 steamlocomotives of the 01 series of the former Deutsche Bundesbahn (Deutsche Reichsbahn) in Nördlingen/Germany, in front of the shed in the Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum Nördlingen/Bavarian Railway Museum (BEM). The 01 # 202 of the association "Verein Pacific 01 202" came in 1975 to Switzerland and is based in Lyss. The 01 # 180 was built in 1936 by Henschel/Kassel and got a new boiler in 1960 by the Deutsche Bundesbahn. Withdrawn in 1973, purchased privat and brought to Bowil in Switzerland in 1975. In 2011 bought by the Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum (BEM) and made operational again. Since 2014 based in Nördlingen. |
