Replica of 1947 of the very first steamlocomotive of Switzerland, the D 1/3 # 1 "Limmat" of the Schweizerische Nordbahn (SNB) from Baden to Zürich of 1847. The 4-2-0 was built by Maschinenbau-Gesellschaft Karlsruhe of Emil Kessler in Germany. The Replica was built by the SLM and the SBB workplace Zürich in 1947, using some parts (mainly the axles and fittings) of the locomotive Eb 2/4 # 15 "Speiser" of the former Schweizerische Centralbahn from 1857. The locomotive got a new chimney this year and is based operational in the Bahnpark Brugg AG.
