An otherwise nice broadside of the Seaboard Coast Line U36B 1776, the first of hundreds of locomotives painted for the American Bicentennial in the 1970s and operating an all-Bicentennial train (2 ATSF cars and a Frisco caboose) from Richmond CA to Richmond VA, is ruined by notoriously inconsiderate railfan, Craig Walker, seen asking a Santa Fe employee an imbecilic question. Photographer Ron Hawkins grabbed this photo anyway, but was able to get another, better photo once Craig had tired of being in everyone’s photos and moved on.
