Emerging from a shadowing canyon, an empty Utah Railway coal train heads downgrade on the eastern slope of Soldier Summit at Kyune, Utah, on the afternoon of May 9, 2006. Four of Utah Railway’s unique MK50-3 locomotives, along with an EMD GP40, power the eastbound train.
