The sun rises over Kansas City, MO on June 19, 2022 where the Santa Fe's celebratory Bicentennial unit number 5704 rests on display next to Union Station. Only five ATSF units were originally painted in this scheme, and this one has just been restored to its former glory. Sunday, June 19 is the last day the locomotive will be on display before beginning a journey west to its new permanent home - the Southern California Railway Museum in Perris, CA.
