An A-A-B-A set of Santa Fe F7 units sits with an eastbound freight in Slaton, Texas while a westbound is ready to go and a Baldwin switcher stands nearby. Slaton was about 17 miles from Lubbock where I spent a year in U.S.A.F. pilot training.
