Since CSX's geometry train has made the rounds over the system after closing on the transaction on June 1, many speed restrictions have recently been put into effect on the MEC side of things, now known as Pan Am's District 1.
For railfans this has been a nice chance to get some daylight arrivals of WAPO, which luckily this day had a decent leader in proper paint.
WAPO with MEC 7561 - MEC 7643 - BM 330 - MEC 313 rolls slowly west on Track 2 toward Rigby Yard with a good sized train, many of which was loaded high cube boxcars of paper and lumber from northern Maine and eastern Canada, a large source of traffic that CSX will likely benefit from having more direct access to.
