We Bring Good Things To Life. It was unusual to find open doors at the General Electric Schenectady, New York facility on the evening of Saturday, July 30, 2022. One of the plant’s switchers, GECX 21 (SL-85, 12/1978), sits in the middle of a group of special flat cars that are designed to carry “dimensional” or “high and wide” loads that are produced here and interchanged with CSX to be transported by rail.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
