| Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 9 "Gletschhorn" of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) is crossing the Steffenbach viaduct between Realp and Tiefenbach with a service train. The locomotive was built in 1914 by the SLM and in 1947 sold to Indochina (Vietnam). Brought back to Switzerland in 1990 and operational for the DFB since 1993 in kobalt blue paint scheme. After a large revision in the DFB workshop in Chur, since 2014 the locomotive is black and numbered "BFD # 9". |
