On The Ridge At Oak Ridge. On the evening of Sunday, September 4, 2022, New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway WS-X was on its way to Sparta, New Jersey with NYSW 3618 (SD45-2, née-BN 6500, SD45, 5/1971) leading a substantial train and flags flying for the Labor Day weekend holiday. The clouds and setting sun on this weekend that nominally marks the end of summer allowed for this normally shadowed view of the train coming around the curve, accenting the yellow and black of this veteran EMD as it parallels Route 23 in Oak Ridge, New Jersey.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
