Remarks & Notes
I caught this beast in action on Sunday morning. It was bringing a string of oil cans from the Wildcat load out, to the Martin yard on the Utah Railway main. This movement kind of answers some questions for me. I actually saw this engine at the Wildcat load out the day before. I kind of assumed that it was just used for switching, and Utah Railway units ran out to Wildcat to bring in the loads. Nope UTWX 2302 an SD60 was doing the work. They had two GP in Genesee and Wyoming paint with the same markings UTWX they had been using at Wildcat. I could see there was an orange unit sealed up in the shops at Martin. So I assume that is where the two GP's are hiding.
