The "Rotary" steam snow blower Xrot # 100 , built in 1896 by Henschel/Germany for the Gotthard Railway with 800 horsepower, turns the 3 meter diameter blower wheel at up to 170 revolutions per minute. The vehicle is pushed by the diesel locomotive Bm 4/4 # 18430, which was built for the SBB in 1968 and is now in service as Bm 840 # 430 "Anja 48" at the Sajet company in Yverdon. This formation is authentic, since the large steam snow blower had also been used together with a Bm 4/4 during its last operation in the winter of 1975 in Göschenen. Since 1982, the Xrotd # 100 was on display at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne (VHS). On January 17, 2021 it was transferred to Brugg AG and in a few weeks it was put back into service by the steam group Zürich. Here the engine is seen at the SBB industrial plant in Biel on the occasion of the celebrations of 175 years of Swiss Railways.
