| Cut into the mountainside high above the valley floor, Norfolk Southern's Pittsburgh Line trackage winds its way over the Alleghenies as it descends from the summit towards Altoona, Pennsylvania. NS intermodal train 16N can be seen stretched out into the distance as it descends the grade behind two GE locomotives and passes under the PRR position light signal bridge at milepost 244, the approach signals for the MG control point around the bend. |
