Park In The Bronx. CSX M701-22 (CSXT 471, AC44CW leading) was a surprise daylight arrival on Friday, September 23, 2022. The nighttime stretched into day for this run from Selkirk, New York as it eventually traveled down the Oak Point Link on the Harlem River under the sun, several hours after its usual time. This kind of things tends to happen in clusters, perhaps a few times in a few weeks, then not again for months. The train is seen passing through Mill Pond Park in the Bronx, New York with the 155 Street Swing Bridge in the background just in front of the apartment buildings that occupy the space of the former Polo Grounds, home of the New York Giants baseball team amongst others.
