Former Central Railroad of New Jersey (CNJ) GP7 1524 may need a truck swap out quickly as former Erie Crane 03125 (Bucyrus Company, 1926) has been brought to lift the engine in the field. But in reality, it’s all part of the “Museum For A Day” night shoot on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the United Railroad Historical Society of NJ facility in Boonton, New Jersey. Once a year, the URHS is able to open its doors to the public, and traditionally its night shoots feature these kinds of scenes with volunteers adding to the action in period clothing.
