Led by recently repainted and renumbered C40-8 #9280, POED sets off 26x0 into Lawrence Yard at CPF-JK interlocking. This was once the site of a large Boston & Maine roundhouse and servicing facility, once located where the present day Market Basket distribution center is. "JK" interlocking was put in service in 2014 and pays homage to the large switch and signal tower which stood at South Union St (in the distance), named JK Tower.
Looking back down memory lane at the last generation of GE spartan cab which includes the six axles C series and four axles B series throughout the various of Class 1 Railroads in North America throughout the years.
