| I spent today enjoying the present-day rarity of big steam pulling a heavy train on a main line. For the westbound leg of RBMN’s fall foliage excursion featuring 4-8-4 2102, I elected not to chase, but rather to get a one-and-done on the bridge over the Schuylkill River at New Ringgold, Pennsylvania. I think that the hike into this location was worth the effort. |
