Mixed train on the Harrison branch (sort of) Montana Rail Link’s 844 local out of Logan, Montana, is slowly working upgrade on the Harrison branch on October 4, 2022. Besides the two covered hoppers for the grain elevator at Harrison, it has Northern Pacific observation car No. RCPX 391 that is headed to a new owner, and will be trucked from the end of track at Harrison. Originally named “Arlington Club”, it was built by Pullman-Standard in 1948 for service on NP’s North Coast Limited, and included four double bedrooms, one compartment, a buffet-kitchen and a 26-seat observation lounge.
