SBB's "Tigerli" shunting locomotives were once widespread throughout Switzerland, with several in use at larger stations. The E 3/3 # 8512, built in 1911 by the SLM for the SBB, was stationed in Zurich in the last years and was discarded in 1965. It was then taken over by SBB Historic and was on display for a while at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne since 1982 to 1999. Finally, it stood outside in the wind and weather at the St-Maurice depot, half rusted and with its chimney dismantled. The Dampfgruppe Zürich in Brugg took an interest in the locomotive and was finally able to transfer it by road to Brugg in 2021. Within a few months, the locomotive was made operational again and presents itself today as the classic steam shunting locomotive with the platform for the personnel at the front. Here she is shunting in front of the depot Koblenz in the afternoon before the large steam weekend.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
