A view from the Second Unit of Q 116 as it rolls through Lansing, Michigan. In Deadhead status you get to enjoy the scenery passing by. Out the Right Hand side of the cab is the now retired coal burning Erickson Power Station. This structure is currently being prepped for Demolition and will no longer be part of the Lansing Skyline. I was glad to capture a photo of the Erickson Power Plant from the train as it has been seen since its construction 1973.
Pace and pan shots of trains from on the ground or in the air. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
