"Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3515 of the Rhaetian Railway is pulling the PE 951 BERNINA EXPRESS from Chur over the Albula and Bernina line to Tirano, between Bernina Lagalb and Ospizio Bernina, on about 2250 meter a.s.l. On the right are several new installed "Kreuzkolktafel", which serve to form a deflation basin (blowout behind a snow drift). On this point of the Bernina line, the snow cornice are the largest when there is much snow. In the moment, there is few snow, about 20 inches.
