Self Lighted. Former Norfolk & Western Railway GP9 686 led the Railroad Museum of New England "Litchfield Hills BBQ & Whiskey Train" towards Litchfield, Connecticut on the night of Thursday, December 9, 2021. The train lights up the side of the Thomaston Dam in Thomaston, Connecticut without any assistance, a benefit of these holiday trains.
