Rainy Evening on the Susie-Q. The Sunday WS-X (Extra) was an post-dusk return from Sparta, NJ on Sunday, April 15, 2018, with the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway SD60 3800 leading long hood forward past the old station in Wyckoff, New Jersey. The day had been fairly overcast, and perhaps the rain starting just before the train arrived added just the right amount of detail to the scene.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
