| View from the "Sphinx" platform on Jungfraujoch ("Top of Europe") 3571 meter a.s.l. down to the Kleine Scheidegg (2070 m a.s.l.). You can see train 351 of the Wengernalpbahn with two Bhe 4/8 cogwheel panorama trains arriving from Lauterbrunnen via Wengen from the left (80 centimeter gauge). In front of the shed of the Jungfraubahnen is the red BDhe 4/8 # 217 ( 1 meter gauge). Behind is the track triangle, partly covered in the mountain, to turn trains of the WAB. To the right you can see the WAB railway line down to Grindelwald. In the foreground is the track of the Jungfraubahnen towards Eigergletscher, and then through the long tunnel up to the Jungfraujoch. |
