| In January 2007, Alstom Canasa SD40-3 (GCFX) 3097 is under control of a CSX egineer in Cayce, South Carolina during hat was a busy time in the little rail yard. There was CSX and HLCX power nearby and a Union Pacific SD70MAC just out of frame to the left. GCFX 3097 was built as Southern Pacific (SP) SD40 8481. The Espee then rebuilt her to SD40R 7315. There may be some parts missing to her ancestry as next we find her as GCFX SD40-2 3097, to CITX, same number. She is now Wheeling & Lake Erie (WE) 6983. |
