Testrun of three coupled "IRD" (Inter Regio Doubledeck train) RABe 512 # 003, # 001 and # 002 from StadlerRail for the SBB in multiple control, from Frauenfeld to Romanshorn Seewiesen, between Erlen and Oberaach. The SBB ordered 60 of this 6-car trains for Interregio services in april 2021, with 466 seats and 160 km/h maximum velocity. Such 456 meter long trains will not circulate in the future because of insufficient length of the platforms.
