NS train 055 passes by Whitaker Yard in Austell, Georgia, with the (then) weekly train load of Caterpillar tractors bound for Savannah for export. Of course, the star of the show this day was the unique SD70ACe demonstrator painted in special Caterpillar colors. This was a one-time-show for 1201, special arrangements were made for it to lead the train all the way across NS from the CAT factory in Peoria, Illinois, to the port in Savannah. It trailed back north and was mostly hidden afterwards. It was soon sold and painted red as Arkansas and Missouri #70.
