In May 2014, the North Carolina Transportation Museum hosted a Streamliners Festival where E units and F units (and streamliners from other builders) all congreated at the museum in Spencer.

Here, the famous Nickel Plate Road Alco PA-1 190 sits at the ervent looking at EMD units across the turntable from the Iowa Central and Pennsylvania Railroad.
