NYSW 4064 is the first out the paint shop in Butler bringing a start to a hopeful end of NS patched units on the NYSW. 4066 was brought into the shop after 4064 was moved out. The 4064 has the paint scheme that has been revived from the days of B40-8s on the NYSW making it unique compared to the other yellowjackets on the railroad. It sure looks good going to be a treat to chase these units on anything after seeing them in NS black for two years.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
