Original Preservation. Former Derby Street Railway electric motor (1888, Pullman) was brought to be displayed at the New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn, New York on October 4, 2012. This locomotive is thought to be the first electric car to be preserved in North America. It is seen there on March 13, 2014, and has since returned to the Shore Line Trolley Museum in Branford, Connecticut.
