| It was crazy to see how much the MRL has put back into the railroad to make it run alot smoother. One example is here near Avon. Avon was once a smaller siding located on the MRL 3rd Sub. The siding was removed once the Bradley siding was built in 2019. This change made for a much longer meeting spot and avoided a busy highway crossing at Avon. To the right is an original ex-Northern Pacific section house, now being used by a local residence. A loaded oil train has air and dynamics going as they drop downgrade all the way to Missoula off Mullan Pass. |
