| This long hood view of a trio of CN SD40s at Boston Bar show off the Canadian road unit style rear headlight treatment. Note no class lights or number boards as well. This particular trio is dynamic brake equipped and were intended for unit coal and sulfur train service. Many CN SD40s were non-dynamic brake, and some had vertical twin sealed beam headhlights, as well as class lights and number boards. |
