Remarks & Notes

C&O 614 leads a Hoboken to Port Jervis excursion west through Secaucus, NJ. The train is approaching Harmon Cove station and would soon be crossing the Hackensack River at HX drawbridge. C&O 614 operated excursions over NJ Transit rails between 1996 and 1997. This Lima 4-8-4 handled lengthy excursions consists solo, often operating at track speed. A set of "chase' units (usually 2 or 3 NJT GP40s) followed the train in case any issues developed.
