| "Electric Freight Through West Haven"
Like a scene from the New Haven Railroad era, Amtrak Siemens ACS-64 640 is seen hauling the Switch Exchange System (SES) work train west through West Haven station on Metro North Railroad's New Haven Line during the first hour of May 14th, 2023.
Work trains that require travel between Hudson Yard and New Haven are usually towed with electric locomotives to comply with the "strict" restrictions within of Penn Station. |
