Hated by a few, but loved by many, the iconic 1970's dress of the Denver and Rio Grande Western's K-28 fleet of the Silverton Branch is on display here in 2023 nearly forty years after it disappeared.
Brought back for a Durango and Silverton photographer's trip in 2022, the 476's 1970's leisure suit is on display here after a weekend in the snow along the line. Included are the silver trip along the number boards and the fatter, larger Railroad Roman font numbers on them...
And then there's the stack.
I'm all for the stack once in a while... Thank You who ever kept them after they were removed.
