About as rare as it gets these days.... Yes, what you are looking at is Union Pacific Engine #1988, the Missouri-Kansas-Texas "The Katy" Heritage Locomotive leading Norfolk Southern train 13Z over the Potomac River. This is the first time this unit has lead a train in either Maryland or West Virginia!
