Remarks & Notes
Modern Day Classics | Just a few hundred feet south of the Springdale, AR depot, Alco C420s numbers 44 and 68 pull their Van Buren-bound excursion train up to speed on the rainy morning of Saturday, June 10, 2023. Built in the mid-60s, number 44 was originally built for the Seaboard Air Line whereas 68 started out as a Lehigh Valley unit. Both were handed off a few times before coming to the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad.
