| Cogwheel railcar BDeh 1/2 # 1 "Liseli" of the Bergbahn Rheineck-Walzenhausen (which is part of the Appenzeller Bahnen since 2006) is on the way as train 6142 of the line S26 from Walzenhausen down to Rheineck. In the background is the village Gaissau in Austria. The line is 1,96 kilometer long with a maximum grade of 25.3 %, the system is Riggenbach and von Roll mixed, the gauge 1.2 meter. The line will be rebuilt to a fully automatic, driverless, cogwheel railway by 2026. |
