Remarks & Notes
SBB Historic's timelessly elegant iconic TRANS EUROP EXPRESS RAe TEE II # 1053 was designed and built in 1961 at the Schweizerische Industriegesellschaft (SIG) in Neuhausen near Schaffhausen, with electrical equipment for the 4 power systems of Europe by MFO. The SIG company, which today no longer manufactures railroad vehicles but is active in packaging machine construction, is celebrating its 170th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the train with invited guests ran from Zurich Seebach via Bülach-Eglisau to the stop Neuhausen Rheinfall and further as an empty train to Schaffhausen. The 6-car train is on the way back from Schaffhausen to Zürich as empty rolling stock train 32557 between Eglisau and Glattfelden.
