It's 12.54 AM in Realp, and the steamtrain 134 from Oberwald with cogwheel locomotive HG 3/4 # 9 reached Realp DFB more then 10 minutes ahead of schedule! The locomotive will soon leave for the depot for water, coal, lubrification and care, to pull train 154 later to Oberwald. More right are the two former RhB "Moyse" diesellocomotives Gm 3/3 # 233 and # 232 of the DFB, not operational in the moment (no cogwheel drive). In the foreground, the regional train 545 of the line R43 of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, coming from Andermatt, is leaving through the Furka Base Tunnel to Oberwald-Brig-Visp. Shoving in the back is baggage railcar Deh 4/4 # 94, former Furka-Oberalp-Bahn. The push-pull train has a lowfloor car in the consist and is reinforced by a "modul" of a second class car B and a mixed first/second class cab car ABt. On another track is a car transport train Oberwald-Realp, with cab car BDt. On the right are two diesel tractors Tm 2/2 # 75 and # 100 of the Furer & Frey company, used for engineering works in the Furka Base tunnel.
