Staying Together. On the evening of July 31, 2021, the trio of (ex-C&NW) Canadian National Railway Company General Electric C40-8/EF-640b CN 2040, 2017, and 2025 head past the docks in Two Harbors, Minnesota with the lake freighter MV Indiana Harbor in the background at Agate Bay. The units are heading out of the yard passing (left to right) the active Docks 1 and 2 and abandoned Dock 6 in the foreground to bring a train of empty taconite ore cars to Minntac in Mountain Iron, Minnesota. To give an idea of scale, the docks over 1300 feet long and 7 stories tall, the MV Indiana Harbor is 1,000 feet long and 105 feet tall from the beam, and a GE C40-8 is 70 feet 8 inches long and 15 feet 4.5 inches tall.
