Remarks & Notes
The SEPTA ALP. SEPTA/SPAX 2308 was the sole remaining active ABB ALP-44 after the retirement of those on the New Jersey Transit roster, as seen under the classic Pennsylvania Railroad signals in Ardmore, PA on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 on Train 1565. By this time, the Siemens built ACS-64s had been replacing the aging electric motor fleet over the summer, spelling the end to the AEM-7/ALP-44 era of passenger service.
