On the cloudy evening of August 7th, 2023, a single New York City Transit Budd R32 (NYCT 3829) and a few R123 CWR railcars pass the historic Newburgh Steam Mill building as they take a ride up the former New York Central River Subdivision on CSX M434. These retired cars were de-trucked and loaded onto flat cars in Brooklyn the week before and are on their way to Frontier Metals in Ohio for scrapping.
