Being centrally located on the Union Pacific system, Bailey Yard at North Platte, Nebraska, is a busy place and processes trains day and night, all week—all year. On the eve of May 4, 2011, boxcars and carloads of lumber are sent over East Hump on their way toward the midwest and eastern destinations.
