NJ Transit 4802 (ex-Amtrak 810, P40DC) leads the lengthy consist out of the Hoboken Terminal after the trip during the golden light of the evening as it passes GP40PH-2A NJTR 4149 (née-PC 3132, GP40, 9/1968). The P40 was in its final days of operation on NJT as the four they owned were deemed surplus after cancellation of ACES and could be found in various protect and fill in roles by that time. It was later stored and sold to Connecticut Department of Transportation and today operates as CDTX 6710 (P40BH). The GP40 has been stored out of service for several years.
